WORK is proud to introduce our new TA-5756B, a modern cost-effective stock appearing turbocharger upgrade designed for the next generation Buick enthusiast who was told to "get a TA-49". The TA-5756B introduces our modern swept blade billet compressor wheel for improved efficiency and flow over previous "Legacy" turbochargers that have become obsolete or cost prohibitive to build.
The TA-5756B offers a slight improvement in air flow over its cast counterpart, the TA-5756C. This gain is provided by a more advanced billet compressor wheel that offers higher flow, reduced mass and slightly higher pressure capabilities.
The turbine section is out tried and true 56mm Stage 3 T31 Hi-Flow that carries over from the TA-49 and others, offering a perfect match of response, flow and cost for this unit.
While this turbo can be used on a 100% stock car, it is recommended that the fuel system be upgraded to at least 36#/HR injectors, chip and high output fuel pump guaranteed safe operation. Upgrade to a 3" downpipe, free flowing exhaust and a nice high flow air filter for a combo that will put a solid smile on your face for years to come!
Want to push the max out of this unit? It still will grow into a front mount intercooler. Alky kit, 208/212 cam, ported heads and intake, along with a super efficient 2800 converter and this turbo will deliver upwards of 425+ flywheel hp.
All of our TA-5756B's are built on either a core exchange basis that utilizes machining of your original Garrett turbine housing for maximum boost response, or with our .63 A/R aftermarket turbine housing that will flow slightly better as a slight cost boost response (compare to a PTE .63 turbine housing). Your core must be a stock viable core with no broken bolts, cracks or major damage. The condition of the bearings/wheels does not matter as we replace all of those items, with new parts. If the option is available for "not sending in a core". this means we have a viable core you can purchase from us to get a genuine Garrett/Buick .63 housing. These are getting harder to find and we sell out regularly, so it is not always a guarantee that that option is available.
All turbochargers are built to order, our normal turnaround time is 3 weeks or less from the day of your order. If you are sending in a core for upgrading, please let us know it is on the way so we can turn your order around as quickly as possible!
